The Engagement!

Once upon a time there was a website here that gave some basic information about how our engagement happened and details about the upcoming wedding. Then one of us managed to delete the database associated with that site. This is an effort to re-create that original content to some degree. Or you could visit it at the internet archive wayback machine, for however long that continues to exist.

The Engagement

A picture taken shortly after the proposal. Jackie was crying a little. When someone asked what was wrong she showed them her hand. At first they thought she had been stung by a bee.
The courtyard at Villa Medici at Cafaggiolo. I literally had to drag Jackie away from the tour group. SHE: “But we’ll get in trouble.” ME: “Come with me.” Actually, that kinda sums up our relationship. 😉
    On the right you can see the courtyard in front behind the gates. The Medici family would throw parties here, safe from their many enemies.
    So many bees buzzing around the gardens out back. I don’t remember this, but Jackie’s comment on the old site says I proposed on our 5th anniversary of dating, so it must be true. 🙂
